A Ringsling is a short wrap from approx. 2m long, with on one side 2 rings attached. A Ringsling is used to carry a child in front or on the hip, where the ringsling is put on one shoulder.
Very suitable for newborn children, but also useable with toddlers. It is a quick way for ergonomic babycarrying – a lot easier and more comfortable than carrying your child on your arm.
While carrying over one shoulder, this way of babycarrying is a bit more heavy than using a long woven wrap, where the weight is divided equally. For long distances, the ringsling is less comfortable. For shorter trips, grocery shopping etc. the ringsling is a very good choice.
